Council Housing
Barnet Council runs a choice based letting system. The only way to access this system and become eligible for council and housing association properties is to join the Homeseekers Register. There is no waiting list and joining the Homeseeekers Register does not guarantee that you will be offered a secure tenancy. Due to the high demand for housing in Barnet the majority of the households on the Homeseekers Register will never be successful at bidding for a permanent council or housing association property.
