For other emergency out of hours repairs
If you are in need of an emergency out of hours repair, please call Barnet Homes freephone number 0800 359 2000. You will need to give as much information as possible about the emergency with your name, address and phone number.
What happens next?
You will get a call back from the duty manager within an hour of reporting the emergency. Advice on how to control the situation will be given to you until a contractor can get to you.
Will the repair be carried out the same day?
The duty manager may decide that the repair is not necessary until the next working day and explain why. If this is the case, the Repairs Reporting Centre will ring you the next day to tell you when the contractor will be coming.
Has your heating failed?
If your heating has failed during winter, or you are over 60 and the weather is cold, we will lend you portable electric heaters if the repair can not be carried out within 24 hours.
