Barnet Council endeavours to make as much information as possible available online about new applications for planning permission. This is to assist members of the public wishing to view and make comments on new applications.
Information available electronically includes:
- Textual information about applications and their progress;
- Electronic copies of application documents, submitted since January 2006.
It should be noted that:
Viewing planning applications online is provided in addition to the statutory service, available at the Planning Reception at the address opposite. Plans for current applications can be viewed here during normal office hours (9.00am - 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am - 5.00pm on Fridays).
- Please note that this facility will not be available between 11.00pm and 1.00am each day due to scheduled technical maintenance requirements.
- Application documents cannot be guaranteed to be available online.
- To view documents online, you will need to enter a user name and password. These should be typed in lower case, as set out below:
- User name: barnet
- Password: barnet
Failure to enter the correct password on 3 consecutive occasions will result in failure of the system. However, this is automatically reset within 30 minutes.
Technical problems and procedural delays can affect availability of this facility. No guarantee can be made that electronic information will be available to fit in with consultation deadlines.
