Be more involved
The landlords' forum is held twice a year (spring and autumn) and is open to all private sector landords and agents working within the London Borough of Barnet. We want to listen to, consult and involve landlords and agents. You can help ensure that the topics discussed at future forums are topical, relevant and accessible by attending the forum.
We want to work closely with landlords to identify incentives and benefits that will be most attractive to a wide range of landlords and encourage partnership working. At the September 2008 forum a small group of landlords signed up to be part of a business club. These landlords meet regularly with officers to develop services and also drive forward the landlords' forum.
At the last landlords' forum, the agenda included the following:
- homelessness assessments and private sector tenants
- changes to Local Housing Allowance
- how to make tenancy agreements legal
