Celebration in the Park for Hampstead Garden Suburb's centenary
The City of London Corporation and London Borough of Barnet are pleased to support Hampstead Garden Suburb in celebrating its centenary with a free family fun day in Golders Hill Park on Sunday 24 June 2007.
The Celebration in the Park will be formally opened by the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman John Stuttard, and the Worshipful the Mayor of the London Borough of Barnet, Councillor Maureen Braun. This will be followed by an afternoon of live music, children's entertainment, nature and sports workshops, an assault course and clowns from Zippo's Circus. There will also be crazy golf and a children's bouncy castle. A cafeteria will be on site throughout the afternoon to buy drinks, snacks and ice-creams.
