The six book challenge
The six book challenge aims to help people get into reading. Are you trying to improve your reading skills or maybe you are learning English? Perhaps you just want to develop the habit of reading for pleasure.
The six book challenge invites readers to read six books and record their reading experience in a diary in return for a host of rewards including a certificate and the chance to enter a national prize draw. This year all the libraries in Barnet will be participating, with the scheme running from January until June 2012.
If you would like to take part, or if you know someone who might enjoy participating, just visit your local library and talk to a member of staff

- Public WiFi (wireless internet access) is available in a number of our libraries. It is free to library members.
