To get further information from the list of titles...
Brief details for each title are shown in your search results. These include details of libraries holding copies of these titles.
The Loan Status box tells you if the item is in the library, or out on loan. If it is out, the date due back is shown. If it is in the library, it will say ‘On shelf’. Please 'phone the library to check if the item is currently available before going to the library.
You can see the full details of a particular title, which is underlined in blue. You can also see further details, including the full title, any other authors, and the class number. There may also be a link to the Amazon website and a picture of the book cover if the item is available on Amazon.
Most catalogue entries have words in blue underlined – usually an author’s name, or a series. These will take you to other books by the author, or other books in the series.
To see the next item in the list, choose Next record at the top or bottom of the screen.
To go back to the list of titles, use the ‘Results’ button, and choose the next item to look with the blue underlined title.
You can also do more complicated searches to limit your searches to years or different types of material.
Using Browse searching you can browse through the catalogue.
