We have entered into a long term partnership with leading leisure trust Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL) to manage and develop the borough's sports and leisure centres.
The partnership aims to offer first class leisure facilities at a price everyone can afford, with major improvements at venues across the borough so that all our customers benefit.
By working together with us, GLL breathes new life into the leisure facilities. There has been investment of over £6.5 million to provide new facilities at our major sites, for example,
- fitness rooms (120 station gyms)
- crèche facilities
- modern reception areas and
- installation of leisure management IT systems in all centres to improve customer service.
All facilities are fully maintained, with rolling planned maintenance programmes.
