Barnet Celebrating Sport Awards 2008
The 2008 Barnet Celebrating Sport Awards were held on Wednesday 22 October at the Emerald Suite, North London Business Park.
The event was attended by over 300 guests and nominees including Barnet's Mayor, Councillor John Marshall, Councillor Richard Cournelius, Larry Achike British Olympic triple jumper and 2008 Paralympics Gold medalist Tom Aggar.

The awards were presented by Barnet Principle Inspector Schools and Learning, Mick Quigley and Internanational Triple Jumper Larry Achike.

- Karate Perfomance by Makenki Shotokan Karate Club
- Table tennis with frying pans by Urban Progress Table Tennis Club
- Dance perfomance by Finchley Catholic High School.
- Questions and Answers by Tom Aggar Gold medalist at the 2008 Beijing paralympics.
