From Wednesday 21 February 2007, GLL will be introducing the Barnet Wellness Leisure Card to the seven leisure centres within the London Borough of Barnet- Barnet Burnt Oak Leisure Centre, Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre, Finchley Lido Leisure Centre, Compton Leisure Centre, Hendon Leisure Centre, Queen Elizabeth Leisure Centre and Church Farm Swimming Pool.

The new membership scheme offers a huge range of benefits including access to all leisure centres in the borough, the ability to book sessions over the telephone and a broad range of payment options.  Six different adjoining categories have also been developed to meet individuals’ specific requirements.  These include:

• Tots Wellness - for under fives
• Kidz Wellness - for children aged 5 - 10 years
• Active Wellness - for 11 to 15 years
• Wellness Health and Fitness - for people aged 16+years
• Premier Wellness - offers access to leisure centres across London
• Club Wellness - designed for senior members offering social events throughout the year

Residents do not need to be a member to use any of the leisure centres in Barnet, just turn up and pay the activity price.  However, if you join the scheme you will receive a greater discount.

Between Wednesday 21 February and Thursday 31 May 2007, all pay and play cards will be free of charge.  To benefit from these cards drop-in to your nearest leisure centre and speak to a Customer Service Advisor or visit www.gll.org
