Sport Unlimited
What is Sport Unlimited?
Sport Unlimited is a three year, nationwide programme that focuses on providing children and young people aged 5-19 years of age the opportunity to do more sport.
There are variety of different activities that provide taster sessions all around the borough of Barnet for young people to participate in, these activities are either free or heavily subsidised. The aim is that children and young people will find a sport or activity they enjoy and want to do more of.
No need to book, just turn up and participate!
Please complete a registration form and hand it in on the day.

Sport Unlimited is looking for more partners
Partners and providers, do you have activities you think the young people of today would like to participate in?
Do you want more young people playing your sport, involved in your activity, joining your club, youth group or community group?
Barnet Council are looking for partners to deliver activities that will get children and young people participating in physical activity outside of the school curriculum to ensure they reach the Government’s ‘5-hour Offer’.
Ideally Sport Unlimited funding will support your own development plans to get more young people involved in your sport/activity.
The only criteria we ask are that:
- activities are offered between term time, September-December, January-March or April-June
- activities are between eight-12 sessions long.
If you are interested in delivering activities as part of the Sport Unlimited programme please contact Sport Development Team using the details to the left.
