Doctors' permits
Doctors' permits are issued to registered doctors following a successful application for a doctors' parking place.
Doctors liable to be called to medical emergencies may apply for a doctors' parking place to help them park their vehicle on the street close to their surgery or consulting room if no off-street parking is available, and if there is local parking congestion. Doctors' permits cost £150 per annual permit and can only be used in conjunction with specific doctors' parking places.
Doctors' permits do not offer other parking concessions. A health emergency badge can be applied for from the Association of London Government to assist when using a vehicle to attend an emergency. In non-emergency situations, the vehicle should be parked legally.
