Traffic management schemes
We take requests from residents for minor improvements to the borough's roads. We prioritise schemes that help make roads safer for pedestrians and cyclists, and those that will reduce traffic delays on local roads.

Local safety schemes
We undertake major road schemes to improve road safety at locations that have been identified as local accident ‘blackspots’. We analyse accident patterns to decide what is the most appropriate scheme.
A programme of local safety schemes is identified each year based on detailed accident investigations.
2005/06 programme
This year the following schemes are being undertaken:

- Totteridge Lane/High Road, Whetstone
- Station Road, Edgware
