Calling all young people!

Do you have one or two hours a week to spare? Then why not volunteer with Barnet Libraries?

We're looking for young people aged 14-17 to help with shelving, tidying books and displays. Our volunteers follow the Duke of Edinburgh award, school enrichment programmes, or just want to help out.

For more information and to apply please contact your local library.

Regular activities and clubs for young people

  • Check mates chess clubs: if you're aged 11-17 and like playing chess and making new friends, then check out Check Mates
  • Manga club: if you love talking about Manga and Anime, then join our Manga club at Hendon library
  • Teenage Reading Groups: choose and discuss the books you want to read

Take a look at our events calendar for dates, times and venues.
