Calling all young people!

Do you have one or two hours a week to spare? Why not volunteer with Barnet Libraries? We are looking for young people aged 14-17 who are willing to help with shelving, tidying books and displays. Our volunteers follow the Duke of Edinburgh Award, school enrichment programmes or just want to help out. For more information and to apply please contact your local library.

Regular activities and clubs for young people

  • Check mates chess club: a new chess club aimed at young people aged between 11 and 17 years old. If you are interested in playing chess and making new friends then why not check out Check Mates
  • Manga club: an opportunity to meet fellow graphic novel enthusiasts, talk about your favourite Manga series, create your own stories and design your own characters

For up to date information take a look at the events calendar for dates, times and venues.
