We have many arts and cultural activities to offer. Whether you want to make the most of your free time, learn something new or find an activity for the weekend we hope there is something for you in our borough.

The borough's main arts centre is the artsdepot in North Finchley. Here you will find an imaginative programme of theatre, dance, music, art exhibitions and classes.

In the summer, there are community festivals in every part of the borough. Many local parks become a bustle of activity as communities come together with stalls, music, dance, workshops, food and funfairs.

Finchley youth theatre

The youth theatre is a friendly, supportive environment and we welcome all young people in Barnet who want to explore the creative arts. There is no need to have prior experience and we only ask that individuals call before hand to book a place on one of the courses in drama, dance, film or circus.

Canada Villa's music studio - Rithmik project

The music studio offers targeted and drop in sessions for young people who want to learn basic music production skills as well as sessions for those with more experience. Professional music producers work alongside young people in a state of the art music studio.
