Business rates

Local authorities collect business rates on most non-domestic and commercial properties, eg:

  • shops
  • offices
  • pubs
  • warehouses
  • factories

You’ll probably have to pay business rates (sometimes known as NNDR or National Non-domestic Rates) if you use a building or part of a building for non-domestic purposes.

Let us know if:

  • you believe that you are entitled to an allowance (discount, exemption or relief)
  • you believe that you are no longer entitled to an allowance
