Civic amenity and recycling centre
We collect over 40 different household materials for recycling at the centre and recycle around 68 per cent of it.
- Monday - Saturday from 8am to 4pm
- Sunday and Bank Holidays 9am to 4pm.
The centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. At weekends, it's best to get there well before 3.30pm, to avoid long queues. The centre closes promptly at 4pm and gates will close to new visitors at 3.50pm and earlier in very busy times.
The centre is monitored by on-site security, ANPR and CCTV cameras.
The 382 bus stops on Summers Lane and the 134 and 221 buses stop nearby on Woodhouse Road.
