The next landlords forum will be held  in January 2013 and will be advertised here.

The last two meetings, in July and September 2012, focused on the council's proposals for changes to council tax support, Barnet Homes services for landlords (Let2Barnet), and welfare reform.

We have many applicants who require good quality housing in the private rented sector. A key aim of the council, therefore, is to maximise opportunities to work with private landlords and letting agents.

The landlords forum is held twice a year and is open to all landlords and agents operating in the Barnet area. The forum is managed by a business club of landlords who work with council officers to develop an interesting agenda.

We also encourage our landlords to join the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme which provides members with all the tips they need on good property management and how to run a tenancy.
