Regular activities for children

Regular activities for primary school children include:

  • Children's reading groups are a chance for children to talk about and share the books they enjoy. Sessions include a range of fun games and activities.
  • Creative fun: craft sessions especially created for older children aged six to 10 years old.
  • Game on gaming clubs: meet other gaming enthusiasts and enjoy a range of Wii and Playstation games. These sessions are aimed at children between the ages of eight and 13 years old.

Please note that from April 2013 we will be making some changes to our activities for primary school children. For up to date information including dates, times and venues please take a look at the events calendar (available on the right of this page).

The library also has lots of materials to help you with your homework, including information books, online resources and access to computers as well as lots of books to read for fun.
