Barnet Mini Marathon
Every year Barnet hold trials to select eight runners in each of the three age groups to represent Barnet at the London Mini Marathon. To represent Barnet at London Mini Marathon, which takes place yearly in April, you must either live or go to school in Barnet.
There are three age groups for girls and boys:
- Boys and Girls- Under 13
- Boys and Girls- Under 15
- Boys and Girls- Under 17
If you want to join a club and get in some training for the 2014 trials, there are two athletics clubs you can use in Barnet:
The London mini marathon course
The marathon course is from Old Billingsgate to The Mall, central London (the last three miles of the annual Virgin London Marathon).
33 London boroughs take part in this great event and each borough's team is made up of 48 runners in total.
Results from 2013
The Barnet Team beat all 32 London Boroughs to be top of the Leader board for the second year in a row at the London Mini Marathon event on Sunday 21 April 2013.

- U17 Boys - 1st
- U13 Girls - 5th
- U15 Girls - 8th
- U17 Girls - 4th
