About the maps
- users can view the electronic version of the proposals map accompanying the newly adopted unitary development plan (2006)
- the online proposals map is presented as a single map covering the whole borough
- the proposals map is interactively linked to relevant policies
- users can access a list of relevant policies and designations for an individual site by double clicking on that area of the proposals map
- the map links to the relevant development plan text through a pop-up window, which lists the relevant policy reference and policy text
- the user is able to identify street names and/or locate an individual site on the map, via postcode and/or street name search
- by magnifying the map (zoom in/out functionality).
