Getting to Hendon Town Hall
Hendon Town Hall is well served by public transport. There are a number of ways to travel to the Town Hall.
Monday - Friday: 9am - 4pm
Hendon Central Underground station and Hendon Town Hall are both fully accessible. There are two available disabled parking bays located 235 metres from the entrance.
We advise that you arrive via the main entrance where there is a ramp leading up to the building.
Fast and frequent rail services run via Hendon rail station to central London and destinations such as Luton and Gatwick airports and Bedford.
Catch the 183 bus from Station Road directly to the main entrance.
Buses 143, 183 and 326 provide a direct service from the main entrance to Archway, Golders Green and Barnet. These services also provide links to Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Hendon Central Underground and Hendon rail stations.
Hendon Central station (Northern Line, Edgware branch) is only 30 minutes away from central London.
The walk from the station to Hendon Town Hall takes approximately 10 minutes. Turn right out of the station, walk up the road to the main junction and then turn right into The Burroughs. As you approach, Hendon Town Hall and the Library are located on the left. Cross the road here and continue to the main entrance.
From the North
Use junction 2 to exit the M1 and join the A41 (Watford Way), then turn left into The Burroughs.
From the West and East
Use the A406 (North Circular) and join the A41 (Watford Way) at the Brent Cross Interchange, then turn right into The Burroughs.
From the South
Use the A41 northbound, and then turn right into The Burroughs.
Public car parks
There are two pay and display car parks off The Burroughs, operating from 8am -6:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
