The storage of the family caravan at the family residential dwelling house does not normally require any planning permission.
Be aware that a Covenant or other Legal Agreement may be attached to the land restricting such a use.
However, the use of a caravan as a separate unit of residential accommodation, is a change of use of the land for which planning permission is required. If you are in any doubt about your responsibilities please contact the Planning Department.
