The Royal Airforce (RAF) Museum in Hendon is once again playing host to Barnet’s annual Jobs and Careers Fair.
Taking place this Thursday (8 March), Barnet Council, the Metropolitan Police, Barnet NHS, Jobcentre Plus and Middlesex University are just a selection of local employers which will be on hand to provide information and advice on how to start a career working with children and young people.
Open between 10am and 5pm, everyone is welcome to attend and speak with a wide range of employers from the private, public, voluntary and community sectors.
A number of short presentations will also be held on a range of possible career areas including health, social work, schools, early years and youth work, as well as how to get started with your CV.
Councillor Andrew Harper, Cabinet Member for Education, Children and Families said:
“The annual Jobs and Careers Fair organised by Barnet Council's Childrens Service has developed into the biggest event of its kind in the borough. Each year many people come to find out about a rewarding career working with children and young people so I urge anyone interested to attend and speak with one of the many specialist advisors who will be on hand.”
