This Investment Statement sets down the principles governing decisions about investment for the London Borough of Barnet Pension Fund. Before adopting it we have considered written professional advice from our investment consultants and the results of the triennial valuation carried out by our actuarial consultants.
Our investment responsibilities are prescribed by the Local Government Pension Scheme (Management and Investment of Funds) Regulations 1998 and any amendments thereto (The Regulations). A copy of the Regulations is available for inspection on request.
This Statement is a living document and we will review it every Scheme year to ensure that it remains accurate and more frequently should any changes be made to the Schemes investment arrangements. We are committed to maintaining the accuracy of this Statement on an ongoing basis.
