Student finance
As you should be aware from the national press Student Finance England are now process all new Student Finance applications and have been doing so for 1 academic year. Please look for advice and information for 2010/2011 on the www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance (external link).
You can register with an online service to receive the maximum grant and loan available. If you applied online in the past, you can login using the same details as before. If you are the parent, husband, wife of a student, you can submit your financial details online to support their application.

Please note this number is only for Barnet existing students we cannot access the Student Finance England Students data base. Scheduled surgeries will no longer be available with new applicants, please contact Student Finance England on the above numbers.
2010 /2011 is a transitional year with a reduction of Barnet student finance staff, hence the change in telephone hours and surgeries. This enables the team to concentrate their efforts on assessments for that year so that the student who applied with in the deadline are paid on time to enable a smooth transition.
Assessments for 2011/12 all processing of new and existing students will be assessed by Student Finance England and no longer local at Barnet. Further information will be published later on in the year.
