Temporary permits
Temporary permits are valid for three-months and are issued to non-residents who are undertaking temporary work for a resident who lives within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ). They allow the holder to park in a Resident Permit Holders Only or Permit Holder Only parking place during the controlled hours. The permit can only be used where the letter(s) on the permit matches the letter(s) on the signs.
If you work as a nanny or housekeeper we require a copy of the vehicle registration document and a letter from the employer confirming this, as well as stating your work address. For builders, we require a copy of the vehicle registration document and a letter from the property owner confirming the work.
Please send applications and copies of documents by post. We do not have a public counter. The cost for a temporary permit is £35.
