About the maps
- Users can view the electronic version of the proposals map accompanying the newly adopted unitary development plan (2006).
- The online proposals map is presented as a single map covering the whole borough.
- The proposals map is interactively linked to relevant policies.
- Users can access a list of relevant policies and designations for an individual site by double-clicking on that area on the proposals map,
- The map links to the relevant development plan text through a ‘pop-up’ window, which lists the relevant policy reference and policy text.
- The user is able to identify street names and/or locate an individual site on the map, via
- Postcode and/or street name search, or
- By magnifying the map (zoom in/out functionality).
