Youth Opportunities Fund
Young people can apply for money for setting up new or additional youth activities in Barnet. Anyone aged 13-19 years old (or up to 25 if they have a learning difficulty or physical disabilty) can develop an idea and apply to the Youth Opportunity Fund. All they need to do is find an organisation which is prepared to support the idea, for example a school or youth club. If you don’t have this support than Youth and Connexions may be able to support you.
Projects that have already been funded:
A group of young people from East Finchley applied for money to buy tools to fix up bikes and sessions to learn how to cycle safely.
A group from Grahame Park estate have been awarded money to set up a football team. The funding will help with buying equipment, kit, a coach and expenses for tournaments.
You can download an application pack here or request a Word version to be emailed to you.
