Barnet Council, along with our partners, including Re, The Barnet Group and Cambridge Education, are relocating to a new office on Bristol Avenue, Colindale over the next few months.
Services moving to Colindale
Some residents currently access council services directly at Barnet House in Whetstone. These services will all be moving to the new office in Colindale.
Many of our services can also now be accessed online through Barnet Council’s My Account, saving time and removing the need to visit our office.
Thousands of Barnet residents already use My Account to manage their housing benefit and council tax accounts as well as to access a wide range of other services including bin collections, parking permits, and road repairs, all from one place.
My Account is easy to use with any device with internet access. The service, which was delivered with input from Barnet residents, includes the ability to report and track local incidents such as fly tipping, pot holes and fallen trees.

From 1 August, there will be no need for you to visit council offices just to verify documents in regards your benefits claims/changes. You will be able to either post your documents or email in a photo of them. Any future requests for documents from our Revenue and Benefits service will clearly list the options available to you.
