We know how important it is to work with people who access social care services, and their carers: to identify improvements, co-design services and ensure the focus remains on improving outcomes for local people.
We provide regular opportunities for people who use our services, their carers and the community and voluntary sector to get involved with the work of Barnet Adults and Communities services. This includes:
- People Bank this is our database of people who are interested in finding out more information about forth coming engagement activities, events and useful information.
- Annual Summit this is our annual event to decide what is important to talk about over the coming year
- Involvement Board and Working Groups agree and work on the key priorities in adult social care and health
- Safeguarding Adults Service User Forum is a multi-agency board which works to improve safeguarding (protection) practices for adults at risk of abuse in Barnet.

Healthwatch Barnet enables residents to share their views about health and social care services. Anyone who uses health and social care services can become a member and help investigate, report and shape services.
