Application to deliver Positive Activities programmes
This form has been developed to enable organisations working with young people to submit an application for funding to deliver activities during school holidays for 8 -19 year olds (up to 25 for those with learning difficulties and disabilities).
We are looking for a range of activities including creative arts and fashion, cookery, dance, drama, performing arts, music, information technology, film, media, environment, sports, health & fitness, personal development and employability.
This is not a comprehensive list and suggestions for new ideas are welcome. Where possible activities should be linked to accreditation (Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, ASDAN, AQA, OCN, Arts or Sports Award).
Activities should be interactive, fun and challenging. Venues within the borough may be available through negotiation with the Barnet Youth and Family Support Service
Please note: All successful applicants will be expected to meet all due diligence criteria set by the Barnet Youth and Family Support Service. This includes:
- Certificate of Public Liability Insurance
- Health & Safety Policy
- Safeguarding Policy
- Staff safeguarding checks (CRB/DBS disclosures)
- Relevant staff qualifications
- Audited accounts
