- Children, young people and families
In order to build a bright future for children and young people in Barnet, the council places increasing emphasis on partnership working.
it’s a way of working that’s making a huge difference to children and young people in Barnet as we continue to rise to the challenges of providing a comprehensive children’s service.
We have successful relationships with Barnet College, Middlesex University, The Metropolitan Police, CommUNITY Barnet, NHS Barnet, and Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital NHS Trust - and you may wish to work with children and young people through joining one of these agencies.
Roles we’ll be recruiting to within our partnerships include: early years, play workers, health, healthcare and therapy assistants, nursery nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, school Nurses, speech and language therapists, teaching assistants, teachers, foster carers, social work volunteers, youth workers and apprenticeships.
