UK Youth Parliament elections 2018/19

Are you passionate about issues? Are you seeking to represent your peers through democratic processes? Are you willing to embark upon a programme of self-development? Then the UK Youth Parliament could be for you!

Background

The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) was established in 1999 and is run by young people for young people, giving them the opportunity to share their opinions on issues ranging from the cost of university education to job opportunities to mental health. Its views and recommendations are listened to by local and national Government and providers of services and other agencies who have an interest in the views and needs of young people.

If you are an organisation seeking to engage with Barnet's UK Youth Parliament Members or for any further information on the above, please contact Chris Parillon, Voice of the Child Participation Officer on tel: 020 8359 3156 or email: ukyp@barnet.gov.uk.
