    Finchley Church End library Early Years Woodwork Class with Pete Moorhouse

    This event for children aged 2 – 4 years, is part of our StArt programme of activities which is bringing arts related opportunities to under-fives in Barnet libraries this autumn. The StArt project is supported using public funding by Arts Council England and we are therefore able to offer this event at a subsidised rate. Pete has over 20 years’ experience of working as an Artist Educator within schools. He delivers CPD training, workshops and keynote conference presentations throughout the UK and overseas. The focus of his work is on encouraging creative and critical thinking in young children. He is the author of “Woodwork in Early Years Education” and has had several journal articles published in the educational press. There are only 10 spaces for this event. Tickets will be available to purchase from the early years team at Finchley Church End Library on Tues 2 Oct and Tues 9 Oct between 9.45 – 11.15am. Please note that payment can only be made in cash. This activity is running during self-service opening hours, so please bring your library card, if you have one, to gain access. If you don’t have a library card yet, don’t worry, our specialist early years staff will be able to admit you and organise a library card for you.
