    Apr

Colindale library Cityread 'Writing Historical Fiction' workshop (Saturday)

    Once

Calling all budding authors and fans of historical fiction! Each year, in April, Cityread London encourages Londoners to come together to read the same book and take part in exciting literary events across the Capital. This year's book is Prophecy by S. J. Parris; a gripping Elizabethan spy thriller set in 1583. To mark its historical theme, Cityread and Barnet Libraries are offering a free historical fiction writing workshop with author Imogen Robertson. Come and experiment with historical fiction, discuss the pleasures of the genre and find the key to unlocking the stories of our past. Spaces are limited so booking is essential. Email libraryevents@barnet.gov.uk to reserve a place or contact Colindale library on 020 8359 3930 for more information.
