Home library service

  • Libraries

You can use the home library service if you can't visit a Barnet library because of your age or disability. Once you've registered you'll receive a visit every four weeks with a selection of titles based on your preferences. You can also request specific titles for free.

How to join the home library service

If you are a Warden or Supervisor of sheltered accommodation or a residential home and would like a collection of books for residents contact the service directly or complete the online application form.

Residents living in sheltered accommodation and residential homes are also eligible for this service.

  • music CDs
  • books and CDs in community languages 
  • DVDs are also available to rent for a small charge
