Have your say on ward boundaries review
The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) are about to start an electoral review of the London Borough of Barnet. The review will draw new council ward boundaries across the borough to make sure each councillor represents an equal number of voters.
Local people know their area best. That’s why, when the review starts, the LGBCE will be asking local residents to give their views on a range of issues to help shape the review. The Commission wants to hear from local people and organisations on:
- Where ward boundaries should be?
- Which areas you identify as your local community?
- Where do people in your area go to access local facilities such as shops and leisure activities?
Come to a briefing on the electoral review from 7-8pm on Thursday 20 September, and make your voice heard. Register your place now.
The consultation itself will launch on Thursday 25 September, running until Monday 3 December – after which draft proposals will be created by the LGBCE.
