Admission Arrangements 2018 - 2019

The consultation process for the proposed changes to admission arrangements for Barnet community schools has now ended.

Determined Admission Arrangements 2018 - 2019

The determined admission arrangements for a school are the arrangements that set out how a school will admit pupils.

The council is the admissions authority for all Barnet community schools and sets the oversubscription criteria which determine which pupils are admitted to these schools. The admission authority for voluntary aided schools, foundation schools and academies is the governing body of the individual school.

The determined arrangements for Barnet community schools can be viewed here.

The determined arrangements for voluntary aided schools, foundation schools and academies, including those that did not consult as there are no changes to previously determined arrangements, are displayed on the individual school websites.

Any person or body who considers that any maintained school or academy’s determined arrangements are unlawful or not in compliance with the School Admissions Code or law relating to admissions can make an objection to the Schools Adjudicator.  Further information on how to make an objection can be obtained from the Office of the Schools Adjudicator or by writing to:
