Road safety consultation and engagement
We receive requests from residents and ward members to review areas of concern and introduce new road safety measures that will:
- improve pedestrian safety
- reduce speeding, improve road user safety and increase road efficiency
- promote active travel.
By prioritising road safety, we aim to make our borough a better place to live, work, and travel.

What happens after the consultation or engagement closes?
Officers will review all feedback received after the consultation close date. They will then provide recommendations whether to progress the scheme, with or without modification, or not to progress.
Once a decision has been made, we will inform affected residents and businesses by letter and publish the results below:
