Please check this page regularly for update on Barnet’s parks and open spaces
It is our intention to keep all parks and open spaces open to support our residents’ physical and mental wellbeing. It is important that in doing so, government guidelines are followed and social distancing measures are observed by all.
To ensure the safety of everyone; all children’s play areas, toilets and outdoor facilities will remain closed to reduce the risk of infection. This temporary closure will remain in place for the duration of the restrictions.
Due to an increase in use of parks and open spaces for daily public exercise as recommended by Public Health England, we will be surveying trees in parks to make sure they are safe. We will then be carrying out works with our contractors.
We will also be assessing any trees that may pose a risk.
Social distancing will be strictly adhered to by Tree Officers and contractors.
