PAC provides independent advice, information and support to anyone affected by adoption and other forms of permanent care, including adopted people, adoptive parents and other permanent carers and their children, birth parents and other birth relatives. PACs services include, a daily Advice Line staffed by qualified and experienced counsellors, face to face counselling, therapeutic input to individuals, couples or families, support with contact arrangements between adoptive and birth families, mediation between adopted adults and birth relatives wishing to make or maintain contact, a comprehensive programme of workshops, groups and seminars for all parties to adoption, a fortnightly drop in for birth mothers, professional consultation and training. A monthly outreach counselling surgery is held in Barnet, free to residents of the borough affected by adoption - appointments can be made via PACs Advice Line on 020 7284 5879.

Advice Line open 10am - 4pm Monday and Tuesday, 2 - 7.30pm Wednesday and Thursday, 10am - 4pm Friday

Cost

Many of PAC's services are free to residents of the London Borough of Barnet, including the monthly outreach surgery in Barnet. For more details contact PAC's daily advice line on the number above.
