Registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Not-for-profit, non religious, non political organisation managed by Asian women volunteers giving service to the community at large. Services include: Advice Centre-Generalist advice in all areas of social welfare law including welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment and immigration; free advice surgeries by Solicitors in family law, wills and immigration. DV counselling face to face and group workshops; Empanelled at Indian High Commission's Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs scheme to provide legal and financial assistance to Indian women facing domestic violence by their UK based spouses. Specialist surgery in Debt, Face to Face surgery and workshop in Debt by Sangam Advisor - Sangam Debt Advice Project funded by Barnet Council. Health activity - Yoga classes for young and old; Cultural activity - Seniors Club for men and women. Indian dance and music-vocal and instrument classes in collaboration with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan of London. Recipient of Queens Golden Jubilee Award for services to the community. Halls and conference rooms for hire.
