Notice of Vacancy for a Councillor - Finchley Church End Ward

2 January 2026 

Following the resignation received from Councillor Daniel Thomas, I hereby give notice that a vacancy now exists in the office of one Borough Councillor for the Finchley Church End ward of the London Borough of Barnet.

No election will be held to fill the vacancy as it has occurred within six months of the next ordinary elections, in accordance with Section 89(3) of the Local Government Act 1972.
