This event is part of our StArt programme of activities which is bringing arts related opportunities to under-fives in Barnet libraries this autumn. The StArt project is supported using public funding by Arts Council England and we are therefore able to offer this event at a subsidised rate.
Anni McTavish began her work with young children in a co-operative parent-run playgroup in the late 1980’s. She went on to run and manage the group and since then has worked across the UK as a trainer, consultant and writer. She specialises in expressive arts, creativity, personal, social and emotional development and superheroes. She took part in the National Children’s Bureau PEAL scheme (Parents, Early Years and Learning 2007) and works in settings on a variety of creative projects.
Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Please note that payment can only be made in cash. We will start signing in and taking payment 15 mins before the event. This activity is running during self-service opening hours, so please bring your library card, if you have one, to gain access. If you don’t have a library card yet, don’t worry, our specialist early years staff will be able to admit you and organise a library card for you.
