If you have ever wondered what it takes to write a book for children or teenagers, join us for two insightful creative writing workshops and pick up some useful techniques from award winning author Penny Joelson.

Penny's most recently published titles are I Have No Secrets and Girl in the Window, both mystery stories for young adults. Penny is Carnegie nominated and winner of 5 awards including the Children’s Book Award ‘Older Readers’ Category and Leeds, Sussex, Worcestershire and Cumbria regional awards. She is also a creative writing tutor for City Lit in Covent Garden.

Start writing at the workshops and your completed short story or extract could be published as an eBook in our digital library!
