Aged between 10-18 and want to get creative? Whether you’ve got a pair of old jeans that need reinventing, a denim jacket that needs jazzing up or you want to create something altogether new, Little Hands Design have got it sussed. Bring along something denim to transform!

Little Hands Design is a not for profit, community interest company. They teach sewing, dressmaking, fashion design and so much more! The team of design trained teachers share their creative skills and ideas with anyone willing to have a go. They are all DSB checked. Jaime who is running this workshop, believes a love of clothes shouldn't cost the earth! She has an MA in Textiles Design from Chelsea College of Art and specialises in recycling and upcycling. She hopes that teaching others making and reworking skills will make them cherish items for longer, and help others to understand the work that goes into making every item of clothing!

This event takes place in the large activities room of Chipping Barnet library.

Please also come along to our free drop-in clothes swapping event beforehand (in the same venue) from 1.15-2.45pm
