Dear Information Access Officer,Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the below information about Barnet council's use of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, or algorithmic decision‑making systems. I have searched previous disclosures on AI, but they do not provide the specific information I am looking for.By AI / automated decision‑making systems, I mean software or tools that use algorithms, predictive analytics, or machine-learning to assist or make decisions affecting council operations or residents.Please provide:1. A summary of Active AI / Automated SystemsA summary list (one to two pages) of all the AI / predictive / automated decision‑making tools currently used by Barnet Council, including:Vendor / supplier nameName of the systemThe service area and department (e.g., Housing, Social Care, Finance, CCTV)The purpose (e.g., fraud detection, risk scoring, meeting summarisation)When each system was first deployed or piloted*Note: I do not need records of any discontinued tools or systems.2. Any risk Assessments (DPIAs or any other risk assessments regarding these systemsCopies of any Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) related to the systems listed above, as well as any algorithmic impact assessments, or similar risk / ethical assessments.If this is unduly burdensome, please provide reasoning as to why and instead, please provide a summary (1‑2 pages) of the key identified risks and mitigations for each system.Please provide these in an appropriate electronic format (PDF or Excel) for all documents. I respectfully request that any fees be waived, or, if there is an unavoidable fee associated with this request, for you to please let me know before you complete the request.I understand that some of this information might be broad or resource-intensive to collect. If any part of this request would exceed Barnet Council's 'unduly burdensome' threshold, please let me know which parts you cannot reasonably provide and why, and give me instructions on how I can revise this request to make it manageable, per ICO mandate.I look forward to receiving your response within 20 working days.
