Thank you for confirming that the CPZ comes into force on 15 December.Could you therefore explain why the signage has been installed without covers, despite the restrictions not yet being legally in force?This is inconsistent with the Traffic Signs Manual (Chapters 1 and 3), which requires signs for future restrictions to be covered to prevent misleading road users. As things stand, the signage gives the impression that the restrictions are active, which could mislead drivers, particularly patients attending the GP surgery.Please confirm:*Why the signs are uncovered while the order is not live.*Whether the council intends to cover them until 15 December.*What guidance or policy has been relied upon in leaving them displayed as if operational.
