Age Profile of Children with EHCPs Awaiting Placement

Dear Freedom of Information Team / Children's Services,Please provide the most recent data available (as of January 2025) regarding children and young people with a maintained Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who are currently not on the roll of a registered educational setting or are awaiting a named placement.Specifically, please provide a breakdown of these children by National Curriculum Year Group (e.g., Early Years/Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2... up to Post-16).Please categorize the data into the following two groups:1. Children Awaiting Provision:Children with an EHCP where the named educational placement is yet to be finalized, or where the child is currently out of school awaiting a start date at a named setting.2.
