Re Consultation RSE039 - Gallants Farm Road and Surrounding RoadsI am writing to you regarding the Consultation on a proposed 20mph zone in Gallants Farm Road and the surrounding area.I have responded to this consultation yesterday objecting to the scheme but, in doing so, note that the Feasibility Study concerning these proposals was not included in the supporting documentation on the Engage Barnet website.As you will see from the correspondence below, the feasibility study was also not provided on the website when the consultation on the 20mph zones on Brunswick Park Road and Church Hill Road was held. When I did manage to see a copy of the Feasibility Study I noted that the accident data provided related to numerous roads away from Brunswick Park Road and Church Hill Road and that, of the 5 out of 16 serious incidents referred to in the study that did involve Brunswick Park Road, Church Hill Road or one directly adjoining, only one mentioned speed as a potential factor due to the steepness of the road.Given the mismatch between the serious incident data and the proposals arising from it I have little confidence in the accuracy or veracity of the Feasibility Study supporting the Gallants Fram Road scheme. Could I therefore please request that this consultation be halted pending the availability of the supporting Feasibility Study? Alternatively could I please request that the Feasibility Study be reviewed independently to confirm that it only contains data directly concerning the affected area?Could I also please request a copy of the Feasibilty Study (as a Freedom of Information Request if necessary)?
